Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to oversee the maintenance and repair of dialysis-related equipment and systems, ensuring patient and staff safety at assigned clinics.

You will perform water quality testing, calibrations, and preventive maintenance while coordinating with administrators and purchasing teams. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license in applicable state.
• Previous dialysis, hospital, or medical experience preferred.
• Ability to distinguish primary colors.
• Ability to react under stress and in emergencies.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of water treatment, medical, and mechanical/electrical systems to ensure patient safety and staff safety.
• Assist with purchasing, inventory, and FIFO procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair dialysis machines, water distribution loops, and RO systems.
• Perform water quality checks (free chlorine, total chlorine, water hardness).
• Perform safety checks on pretreatment water equipment and related systems.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation for facility equipment.
• Prepare and participate in staff trainings and safety procedures.
