Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in mechanical, automotive, dialysis, or medical tech is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate hand tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative, independent, analytical, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintain the physical plant as directed and ensure vendor services per contract.
• Purchase and retain an inventory of service parts.
• Perform water/dialysate testing and report actions required.
• Conduct trend analysis on water systems to ensure proper function.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Assist in planning/installing biomedical equipment for safe operation.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as needed.
• Collaborate with facility staff to meet regulatory/OSHA requirements.
• Manage inventory and costs related to supplies.
