Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis equipment across our clinic network. You will install, calibrate, and verify water treatment systems, train staff on maintenance, and manage inventories to ensure patient safety and uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

• General educational requirements include a high school diploma or GED.
• An associate degree in electronics or biomedical technology is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license is required for state travel between clinics.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant and ensures vendor services are completed per contract.
• Purchases and inventories service parts and materials.
• Performs water/dialysate sample collection and analysis per protocol.
• Documents repairs and maintenance activity and participates in regulatory meetings.
• Provides after-hours on-call coverage as needed and assists in equipment installation.
