Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis equipment and water treatment systems in our kidney care clinics. You will train colleagues on operational maintenance and manage medical supplies to ensure patient safety and equipment reliability.

You will perform preventive maintenance, document repairs, assist with inventory, and participate in regulatory compliance and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work with a variety of equipment.
• Driver's license issued in state of residence required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant as directed and ensures vendor services meet contracts.
• Documents repairs and maintenance activities and conducts trend analysis of water systems.
• Performs initial and ongoing verification of staff technique for testing water systems per device specs.
• Provides after-hours technical on-call coverage for clinics as needed.
