Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain, repair and calibrate dialysis equipment and water treatment systems across our kidney care clinics. You will train colleagues on operational maintenance to ensure patient safety and manage necessary medical supplies.

The role supports continuous improvement and compliance with state/federal regulations, requiring hands-on mechanical skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Completion of Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant and equipment as directed.
• Ensures outside vendor services are completed per contracts.
• Purchases and manages inventory of service parts.
• Performs water/dialysate sampling and reporting.
