Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair medical and water treatment equipment within our kidney care clinics. You will train and educate colleagues on operational maintenance of our dialysis machines to ensure patient safety, and manage the medical supplies required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Completion of Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment and water systems.
• Maintains the facility’s physical plant and oversees contract work as directed.
• Purchases and maintains service parts inventory.
• Performs water sample collection and analyzes results as required.
• Documents all repairs and maintenance activities.
• Provides after-hours on-call technical support for clinics.
