Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis and water treatment equipment across our kidney care clinics. You will train colleagues on operational maintenance and manage medical supplies to support patient safety.

The role includes a career ladder with progression paths and collaboration with site staff to ensure regulatory and safety standards are met. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant, as directed.
• Ensures outside vendor services are completed per contract.
• Purchases and retains inventory of service parts.
• Performs water/dialysate sample collection and action reporting.
• Documents all repairs and maintenance activity.
• Transports equipment as needed with supervisor consent.
• Participates in monthly technical and regulatory meetings.
• Collaborates with facility staff to meet regulatory and OSHA requirements.
• Manages inventory including deliveries and inter-clinic transfers.
• Performs tests and documentation compliant with device specs.
• Completes all required training programs.
