Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis and water treatment equipment across our clinics. You will train staff on maintenance of dialysis devices to ensure patient safety and manage medical supplies.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, equipment installation, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. The role requires mobility, a valid license, and readiness for after-hours support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• On-going Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment and water systems.
• Maintains the physical plant and coordinates vendor services.
• Manages inventory of service parts and supplies.
• Performs water/dialysate testing and trend analysis.
• Documents repairs and maintenance activities.
• Plans and installs biomedical equipment for safe operation.
• Provides after-hours on-call coverage as needed.
