Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis and water treatment equipment across our kidney care clinics. You will train colleagues on operational maintenance to ensure patient safety and manage essential medical supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree in electronics / biomedical technology preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Completion of Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant as directed and ensures vendor services per contract.
• Purchases and retains an inventory of service parts.
• Performs water/dialysate sample collection and actions required.
• Conducts trend analysis on the water system to ensure proper function.
• Documents all repairs and maintenance activities.
