Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis equipment and water treatment systems at our Lagrange clinics. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Associate Degree in electronics / biomedical technology, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license in the employee’s state of residence.
• Continued employment is dependent on successful completion of Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within the first 24 months of service.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant and coordinates with outside vendors per contract.
• Manages inventory of service parts and equipment.
• Performs water/dialysate sample collection and analysis.
• Documents repairs and maintenance activities.
• Participates in monthly technical and regulatory meetings.
• Provides after-hours on-call coverage as needed.
