Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician I to perform routine and semi-routine repair and maintenance of dialysis and water treatment equipment, under general supervision. You will troubleshoot, document activities, and support regulatory compliance in a patient care environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, technical training in biomedical technology, and relevant certifications. Travel may be required, with a focus on patient safety and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; completion of Biomedical Technician Education Curriculum and Practicum.
• Associate or Bachelor in electronics/biomedical technology is a plus.
• Nephrology/biomedical certifications preferred (BONENT, CHT, NNCO, CBNT, WQA, AAMI, CBET).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of water treatment, dialysis, and ancillary equipment.
• Oversee service and maintenance by approved vendors.
• Document all repair/maintenance activities and update tracking systems.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards.
