Job summary

Westchester Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead education for End Stage Renal Dialysis. The role partners with the Dialysis Director, Nurse Manager, and physicians to implement best practices and ensure CMS, DNV, ESRD Network, and KDOQI standards are met.

You will develop, coordinate, and evaluate education programs, provide research on best practices, and coach the dialysis team to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• ASN or completion of accredited Nursing Program is required.
• BSN is preferred, Master's in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role model standards of nursing care and define optimum nursing practices.
• Provides direct education/training and supervises preceptors.
• Coordinates/participates in patient care interdisciplinary team meetings.
