Job summary

Glenwood Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Coordinator RN Dialysis to work with the ICU Director on education, training, and evaluation of dialysis staff. You will monitor care quality, investigate issues, and develop solutions while acting as a liaison between nursing staff and hospital management.

There may be occasional direct patient care duties. This role emphasizes leadership and collaboration within the dialysis department.

Qualifications

• Strong dialysis experience is required.
• Charge or supervisory experience in dialysis is preferred.
• Current Louisiana RN Licensure is required.
• BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider Status is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the ICU Director to conduct education needs assessment, training, and evaluation of the Dialysis staff.
• Monitor the quality of care offered by the department and investigate and develop solutions to issues.
• Serve as a link between nursing staff and hospital management and respond to questions or complaints from patients or family members.
• Occasionally perform direct patient care duties if the need arises.
