Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Nursing Assistant (NA), Medical Assistant (MA), or other healthcare experience preferred.
  • Must successfully complete the Greenfield Health Systems dialysis training program, as a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert dialysis treatments by following prescribed protocols and physician orders.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and changes during treatment.
  • Set up and operate dialysis machines, perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed by physicians.
  • Educate patients and families about dialysis procedures, dietary guidelines, and self-care.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records of treatments and patient progress.
  • Uphold infection control protocols and safety standards throughout the unit.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to expand skills.

Dialysis Clinical Technician - Dearborn - 40 Hours/Week

UP TO A $2,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR CCHT CERTIFIED DIALYSIS CLINICAL TECHNICIANS

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Dialysis Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in patient care and a passion for helping individuals with kidney disease. As a Clinical Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing dialysis treatments and ensuring the well‑being of our patients.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

Fairlane Dialysis is a freestanding outpatient dialysis facility. Staffed with full‑time Nephrologists. In addition, we have full‑time and part time Nurses and dialysis technicians. In addition, the unit has multiple support staff members including the frontdesk team and tech leader staff (machine maintenance) that may assist with operational duties within the clinic. Our team provides pt education as well as referrals to transplant services for sites the pt requests to be referred to. The unit is typically open Monday through Saturday from 5am to 7:30pm for pt care hours with some flexibility based on the clinic's needs.

  • Must successfully complete the Greenfield Health Systems dialysis training program, as a condition of continued employment.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • As a condition of continued employment, certification as a dialysis technician must be obtained (and maintained) within designated timeline of 18 months, in accordance with federal regulation.
