Job summary

Henry Ford Health seeks a Dialysis Clinical Tech Float Pool for 40 hours per week, day shift, to support multiple outpatient dialysis units across Southeast Michigan. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,000, reflecting the value of joining a leading academic health system.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, healthcare experience (NA/MA preferred), and completion of the dialysis training program. You will collaborate with nurses and clinicians to deliver high-quality dialysis care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Nursing Assistant (NA) or Medical Assistant (MA) or healthcare experience preferred.
• Must complete the dialysis training program as a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Administer normal saline via extracorporeal system to keep dialysis running smoothly.
• Administer 2% xylocaine subcutaneously to initiate hemodialysis procedures.
• Administer heparin through the extracorporeal system and/or cannulated access site as prescribed.

Dialysis Clinical Tech Float Pool - 40 Hours/Week - Day Shift

Up to a $2,000 Sign On Bonus for Certified Dialysis Technician

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

Ready to make a real difference in patients' lives? Here's what you'll be doing:

• **Keep the flow going** – Administer normal saline solution via the extracorporeal system to keep dialysis running smoothly
• **Master the procedure** – Administer 2% xylocaine subcutaneously to initiate hemodialysis procedures like a pro
• **Be the anticoagulant expert** – Administer heparin via the extracorporeal system and/or cannulated access site in the doses prescribed by physicians, working closely with nursing staff to monitor and optimize patient outcomes

Clinical Technician Pool Guidelines

• **Be part of the crew** – Work as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Nurse Manager of your assigned unit and collaborating to deliver exceptional hemodialysis patient care
• **Grow with variety** – Enjoy diverse assignments across our Southeast Michigan outpatient dialysis units, with scheduling, evaluations, and professional development managed by the program manager in partnership with unit leadership
• **Find your rhythm** – Get assigned to units for a minimum of two (2) weeks and maximum of six (6) consecutive weeks, giving you the perfect balance of consistency and variety to keep things fresh and engaging

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant (NA), Medical Assistant (MA), or other healthcare experience preferred.
• Must successfully complete the Greenfield Health Systems dialysis training program, as a condition of continued employment.
