Job summary

Veterans Health Administration is seeking a Dialysis Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to lead Hemodialysis nursing staff, ensure safe patient care, and oversee quality improvement initiatives in a 24-hour unit. The CNM will coordinate staff development, supervise performance, and collaborate with care line chiefs to address care standards.

The role requires nursing leadership experience, dialysis expertise, and the ability to manage resources and patient flow while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 12 months of clinical nursing experience at minimum.
• 6+ months direct dialysis nursing experience within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise and evaluate care delivered by nursing staff and technicians.
• Ensure safe environment of care with functional equipment and available supplies.
• Lead quality assessment and performance improvement programs and SOPs.
