Dialysis Newco, Inc. seeks an experienced RN Charge Nurse to oversee nursing services on each shift and act as the nursing supervisor. You will provide daily staff supervision during operational hours and ensure high-quality patient care in the dialysis clinic.

The role involves coordinating clinical and operational processes, supervising medication reviews, and collaborating with physicians and the Medical Director. CPR within 90 days and valid RN license are required.

Formación

• 12 months of nursing care experience, including 3 months on maintenance dialysis.
• Current RN license in the applicable state, and license must be current and in good standing.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to handle emergent situations with sound judgment.
• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire.
• Must meet state-specific practice requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments.
• Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours.
• Complete and document monthly review of patient medication profiles; administer medications as ordered.
• Assist physician during patient rounds and transcribe/implement physician orders timely.
• Assist with anemia management and medication protocols as requested.
• Comply with federal, state, local laws and regulations, including practice acts.
• May provide direct patient care for efficient, safe dialysis where state allows.
• Respond to emergencies in clinic.
• Communicate results of patient assessments to physician and team.
• Maintain collaborative working relationship with Medical Director and physicians.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary team care planning activities.
• Assist in orientation of new staff as a preceptor or assign a preceptor.
• Act as resource person and ensure policies/procedures are updated.
• Assist Administrator in interviewing, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
