Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead daily patient care operations and ensure safe, quality dialysis services. You will supervise direct care staff, participate in staffing decisions, and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

As a key clinical leader, you will coordinate with nurses, physicians and support staff to maintain high patient safety, manage emergencies, and promote continuous improvement in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.) and licensed to practice.
• Minimum 12 months of nursing experience, plus 6 months dialysis care experience.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff and provide feedback.
• Participate in staffing, hiring, firing and disciplinary actions as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, policies and regulations; approve/adjust schedules as needed.
• Oversee patient care plans, education of patients and families, and coordination with physicians.
