Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Hillsboro, Oregon seeks an experienced Charge Nurse to lead dialysis unit operations and ensure high-quality patient care. You will supervise direct patient care staff, coordinate scheduling, and partner with the Facility Administrator to maintain safety, compliance and efficient workflows.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure, 12+ months nursing experience with at least 6 months in dialysis, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.).
• Must be registered and licensed to practice in the applicable State.
• Minimum 12 months of nursing experience with 6 months in dialysis care.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day guidance and direction to direct patient care staff.
• Ensure compliance with all procedures and regulations.
• Approve or disapprove staffing changes in absence of Facility Administrator.
• Coordinate Charge Nurse duties with Staff RNs.
• Maintain safe, efficient, and effective shift operations.
• Attend monthly Quality Assurance meetings.
