Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Dialysis Technician to support safe and effective dialysis therapy under RN supervision. You will be responsible for setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and contributing to CQI activities and patient education as part of the care team.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and successful completion of the dialysis training program, with state or CMS certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and perform cannulation as delegated.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters.
• Initiate dialysis per orders including QB and QD.
• Monitor response to dialysis and address intradialytic problems.
• Maintain infection control and environmental cleanliness.
• Assist in training direct patient care staff.
• Prepare patient charts and lab requisitions.
