Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Fontana is seeking a dialysis patient care technician to join the dialysis health care team under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will assist with the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and maintain a safe, clean environment.

You will perform pre/post treatment assessments, monitor vital signs, participate in infection control, document treatment data, and support education and CQI initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS/state certification requirements must be met.
• Experience in a dialysis or clinical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines under RN supervision.
• Monitor vital signs, document data, and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain infection control practices and clean treatment areas between sessions.
• Support education and CQI activities as part of patient care.
