Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis patient care technician to support the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines. You will monitor patients, record vital signs, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the treatment area.

This role requires high school diploma or GED and CPR certification, with CMS/state licensing requirements as applicable. Training will be provided to meet unit standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CPR certification preferred.
• CMS or state licensing requirements must be met.
• Experience in dialysis settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients and document vital signs and treatment parameters.
• Assess vascular access patency and cannulation as delegated.
• Administer heparin as delegated by RN or physician order.
• Maintain clean, safe dialysis environment and equipment.
• Record treatment data accurately in the clinical system.
