Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Denver, CO is seeking a Dialysis Technician to join the health care team under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor treatments, and maintain a safe, clean patient care environment.

You will perform pre and post-treatment assessments, document vital signs, and support education for patients on adequacy measures and treatment procedures, while adhering to regulatory policies and CQI activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must meet CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of dialysis machines and monitor treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access and perform cannulation as delegated.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters.
• Follow infection control policies and ensure safety.
