Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in California is seeking a dialysis technician to join the health care team under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. You will assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and maintain a safe, clean treatment environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, recording treatment parameters, documenting patient data, and supporting quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS/state license requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and treatment parameters.
• Document treatment data and nursing signatures accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and infection-controlled treatment environment.
• Participate in CQI activities and ongoing education.
