Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a dialysis technician to join the team responsible for safe and effective dialysis therapy under RN supervision. You will set up and operate dialysis machines, monitor patients, record vitals, and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

You will also contribute to CQI activities, document treatments accurately, and provide patient education and support during dialysis sessions. A high school diploma/GED and CPR certification are required, with dialysis training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMS/state licensure requirements and training.
• CPR certification required after training.
• Dialysis training program completion required.
• Experience in patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and document vital signs.
• Calculate and enter machine parameters (QB, QD, UF goals).
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the treatment area and equipment.
• Document treatment data and report changes to the RN or supervisor.
• Provide patient education and assist in CQI activities.
