Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within the required timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training are required.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital or related facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing patient-specific education on adequacy measures and dialysis processes.
• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor patients during treatment.
• Take pre- and post-treatment vital signs and document findings.
• Evaluate vascular access and assist with cannulation under supervision.
• Record treatment parameters and ensure accurate charting and data entry.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to infection control policies.
