Fresenius Medical Care in Palmetto, GA seeks a dedicated Dialysis Technician to support the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and ensure patient safety throughout treatments.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assist with patient education, and participate in CQI activities to improve care quality. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to CMS guidelines.

Formación

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within required state or CMS timeline.
• CPR certification preferred or required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in setting up and operating dialysis equipment and monitor patient status.
• Provide patient education under supervision on treatment adequacy and monitoring (OLC, AMP, UKM).
• Evaluate and monitor vascular access, vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters; document appropriately.
• Assist with transitional care and infection control practices as part of the care team.
