Qualifications

• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients during treatment and document vital signs and treatment data.
• Evaluate vascular access and administer heparin as delegated.
• Respond to alarms and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain clean and safe dialysis area and prepare supplies for treatments.
• Provide patient education and assist in education programs under supervision.
