Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS/state licensure requirements within required state or CMS timeline.
• CPR certification required.
• Dialysis training program completion or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education on adequacy measures (OLC, AMP, UKM).
• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor treatments under supervision.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters accurately.
• Maintain infection control and clean, safe environment between treatments.
• Assist in training of direct patient care staff under RN supervision.
• Document and report patient condition and treatment notes to supervising nurse.
