Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assess wellbeing since last treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and perform cannulation as permitted.
• Record pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight.
• Initiate dialysis according to orders and monitor response.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the environment and document treatment data.
• Report any significant changes to the nurse or supervisor.
