Job summary

• Assist in providing patient education regarding adequacy measures as appropriate.
• Monitor vital signs and weight, document findings accurately.
• Perform pre/post dialysis checks and participate in CQI activities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assess wellbeing prior to treatment.
• Set up/hemodialysis machine and manage treatment parameters per orders.
• Record vital signs, weights, and treatment data on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.
• Monitor for intradialytic issues and intervene as directed by physicians.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and perform safety checks on equipment.
