Fresenius Medical Care in Sharpsburg, GA seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join its dialysis team. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will assist with setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and monitor patient safety during treatment.

You will perform pre/post treatment tasks, take vital signs, support infection control, document treatment data, and contribute to a high-quality patient experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and response to dialysis therapy.
• Maintain safe and clean treatment environment and document treatment data.
• Record and report treatment details to RN or supervisor.
• Assist with infection control practices and patient education.

Conocimientos

CPR certification

Patient care experience

Vascular access cannulation

Hemodialysis machine familiarity

Educación
