Job summary

Alaska Dialysis is seeking a dedicated dialysis care provider to monitor patients before, during, and after treatment, and to prepare dialysis machines and components for therapy. You will record vital signs and explain procedures while maintaining safety and cleanliness across the clinic.

The role requires CPR certification within 90 days, basic computer skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in English. Flexible shifts and teamwork are essential to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in clinical applications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for and monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
• Prepare dialysis machine and components for treatment.
• Record patient data (weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
• Explain dialysis procedure and machine operation to patients.
• Inspect access area (fistula, graft, catheter) and equipment settings.
• Start treatment per physician order and monitor for adverse reactions.
