Job summary

Alaska Dialysis in Anchorage is seeking a dedicated dialysis technician to care for adult/geriatric ESRD patients in our clinic. You will monitor patients, prepare machines, and document vital signs during dialysis sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• CMS certification requirements must be met within CMS timeline.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must be able to learn and use clinical applications within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Care for and monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis.
• Prepare dialysis machine and components for treatment.
• Record patient weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Explain dialysis procedure and machine operation to patients.
• Inspect access site (fistula, graft, or catheter) and equipment settings.
• Start treatment per physician order and monitor for complications.
• Assist in inventory and supply stocking.
