Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Hackensack, NJ seeks a part-time dialysis technician to assist in safe and effective dialysis under supervision. You will set up machines, monitor patients, record vital signs, and support staff to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification required within state or CMS timeline.
• CPR certification and prior patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients during treatment and document vitals and treatment parameters.
• Perform pre/post dialysis evaluations and assist in vascular access cannulation and heparin administration as allowed.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control policies.
• Record treatment data accurately in designated clinical applications.
