Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in New Jersey is seeking a Dialysis Technician to assist in safe, patient-centered dialysis under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will set up and operate dialysis machines, monitor patient status, and document treatments.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, CMS certification, and appropriate licensure. Prior hospital patient care experience preferred. We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) match, paid time off, and parental leave.

• CMS-approved state or national certification and licensure.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training.
• Demonstrated commitment to organization culture, values, and customer service standards.
• Continued employment is dependent on successful completion of the organization dialysis training program and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate dialysis machines and monitor treatment.
• Evaluate patient wellbeing and respond to any issues during treatment.
• Record vital signs, treatment data, and weight before, during, and after treatment.
• Maintain safety alarms and equipment as required by policy.
• Assist in infection control and environmental sanitation between treatments.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure smooth patient flow and transitions.
