Qualifications

• Must meet CMS-approved certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.

Responsibilities

• Assist education on adequacy measures and monitoring programs.
• Evaluate vascular access and cannulation; assist with heparin administration as allowed.
• Initiate dialysis per orders; monitor vital signs and treatment parameters.
• Document treatment data accurately and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Support infection control and CQI activities to improve patient outcomes.
