Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and monitor therapy.
• Provide patient education on adequacy measures and dialysis procedures.
• Take pre- and post-treatment vital signs and monitor vascular access.
• Document treatment data and report changes to the registered nurse or supervisor.
• Maintain infection control practices and prepare lab specimens as required.
