Job summary

Cook County Health's Renal Dialysis Division seeks a Nurse Manager to lead inpatient and outpatient dialysis services at John H. Stroger Hospital. You will oversee clinical operations, staff development, compliance with ESRD regulations, and quality improvement initiatives.

You will partner with physician leaders, ensure efficient patient flow, manage budgets, and uphold regulatory standards while fostering a collaborative, high‑reliability care environment across the dialysis programs.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Illinois.
• BSN degree required; MSN preferred.
• Five years of nursing leadership experience or three years in a procedural unit.
• One year of dialysis services experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize and oversee all patient care delivery for dialysis services.
• Lead staff management, financial performance and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and leaders to achieve system goals.
• Ensure 24/7 quality, safety, and adherence to ESRD standards.
• Oversee scheduling, labor productivity, and patient access flow.
• Maintain quality indicators and implement improvement initiatives.
