Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis and water treatment equipment in our kidney care clinics. The role also includes training colleagues on operational maintenance and managing medical supplies.

You will contribute to patient safety by ensuring equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and ongoing technician training as part of a dedicated technical services team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Successful completion of Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant as directed.
• Purchase and manage service parts inventory.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Participate in monthly technical and regulatory meetings.
• Collaborate with staff to meet OSHA and regulatory requirements.
• Provide on-call technical coverage as needed.
