Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis equipment and water treatment systems across our kidney care clinics. You will also train teammates on operational maintenance to ensure patient safety and optimal device performance.

The role includes equipment installations, inventory management, regulatory compliance, and after-hours on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Completion of Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the facility physical plant as directed and ensures vendor services per contract.
• Manages inventory of service parts and instrumentation.
• Performs water/dialysate sample collection and action reporting.
• Documents repairs and maintenance; participates in regulatory meetings.
• Provides after-hours on-call coverage and assists with equipment installation.
