Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to oversee the maintenance and repair of water treatment and dialysis equipment across assigned clinics. The role emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with clinic leadership.

The technician will manage inventory, assist purchasing, perform routine safety checks, and document maintenance activities while supporting team training and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Valid driver’s license in applicable state with good driving record.
• Previous dialysis, hospital, or medical experience preferred.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of water treatment equipment, medical equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Assist with purchasing, inventory counts, and ensure proper stock control (FIFO).
• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate dialysis machines, RO systems, and related equipment.
• Perform water quality checks, safety tests, and prepare samples for microbiology and AAMI analyses.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Promote guest customer service standards and collaborate with Administrators to meet clinic needs.
