Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to oversee the operating condition, maintenance, and repair of all water treatment and dialysis-related equipment across assigned clinics.

The role focuses on patient safety and staff safety, with responsibilities spanning preventive maintenance, safety testing, and emergency readiness. The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and preferred dialysis or medical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver''s license in applicable state with clean driving record.
• Previous dialysis, hospital, or medical experience preferred.
• Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Ability to react and perform under stress and in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate and interface effectively with others.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently as well as with others to plan and organize work assignment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of water treatment and dialysis equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours.
• Assist with purchasing and inventory controls; perform weekly and month-end counts.
• Troubleshoot and repair dialysis machines, water distribution loops, and RO units.
• Perform water quality checks and safety tests on pretreatment equipment.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and accurate equipment records.
• Promote guest customer service standards and coordinate with Administrators.
