Qualifications

• ARRT registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology; if registry-eligible, must pass within one year.
• Completion of accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License required for outpatient facilities.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiology exams by verifying orders and patient identity.
• Perform radiology exams across ages and maintain competency.
• Maintain safe environment and follow radiation safety practices.
• Supervise and instruct students; support radiology cross-training programs.
• Maintain supplies inventory and accurate documentation for billing.
