Job summary

Atlantic Health in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist responsible for X-raying patients with radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images under the direction of the Radiologist. You will prepare and maintain records and ensure patient safety and comfort.

You will perform imaging procedures according to guidelines, troubleshoot equipment, obtain patient history, explain procedures, address questions, and support daily imaging operations while maintaining high quality image

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
