Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist to perform a range of ultrasound exams for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The ideal candidate will possess RDMS certification, with RVT or RVS within 18 months of hire, and a BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Proficient in ultrasound equipment use and able to recognize anatomy/pathology.
• RDMS required; RVT or RVS within 18 months of hire; BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years in a large hospital setting preferred; new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of Diagnostic Ultrasound exams to produce images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtain and document patient information/history for appropriate exams.
• Maintain 100% accuracy in ultrasound exams and patient tracking in RIS.
• Ensure quality control of exams using PACS and adhere to department standards.
• Maintain licensure/credentials and participate in team-based patient care.
