Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking a Part-Time Ultrasound Technologist to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and assist in interventional procedures as needed.

The role requires an Associate’s degree or graduate of an accredited Sonography program with RVT/RVS certification within 6 months and CPR within 30 days. Experience in EMR, RIS, and image storage is preferred; on-call responsibilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or graduate of an accredited Sonography program.
• RV T (ARDMS) or RVS credentialing within 6 months of hire.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Two of ARDMS/ARRT: Abdomen, OB/GYN, MSK, Breast.
• Minimum experience: no prior job-related work experience; 2 years preferred in Ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic US procedures with quality imaging per physician orders.
• Obtains clinical history and correlates data with US exam.
• Performs daily/weekly quality control as required.
• Assists Radiologist in procedures and emergencies.
• Coordinates patient care to optimize time and satisfaction.
• Educates patients/families about procedures.
• Ensures records and orders are properly filed and billed.
