Job summary

HCHCares is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform a range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures under physician orders. You will assist radiologists, perform abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular and interventional scans while adhering to department protocols and safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold ARDMS/ARRT and ultrasound certifications with 1 year of ultrasonography experience; Indiana licensing is preferred. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of axial anatomy, physiology and ultrasound physics.
• Registration with ARDMS or ARRT is required or preferred.
• State of Indiana Diagnostic Radiation Operator certification is preferred.
• Ultrasound certification is preferred.
• One year ultrasonography experience is acceptable in lieu of formal training.
• Two years hospital radiology technologist experience preferred for on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures following physician orders and departmental protocol.
• Assist radiologists and physicians as requested.
• Cover abdominal, retroperitoneal, OB/GYN, peripheral vascular doppler and interventional ultrasound procedures.
