Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of AMA approved Sonography program required.
• ARRT (Sonography) or ARDMS RDMS preferred; registry eligible must be registered within 12 months of hire.
• Current AHA CPR certification required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment for diagnostic imaging.
• Assess patients and review orders; document history and symptoms.
• Prepare patients and communicate with radiologist for instructions.
• Record exam times accurately in RIS for timely access.
• Participate in QA, education of students, and department improvement projects.
