Carolinas Physicians Network, Inc. is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams requested by physicians and to create high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. You will document results, maintain images, and ensure equipment is functioning properly within hospital procedures.

The role requires RDMS certification, completion of an ultrasound training program, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining patient safety and care standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of ultrasound training program preferred.
• RDMS license required.
• Nuchal translucency imaging certification may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs ultrasound diagnostic procedures as requested by the physician.
• Produces procedures that require independent judgment and initiative to create images for ultrasound diagnosis.
• Documents test results and maintains hard copy images.
• Handles preventive maintenance on ultrasound equipment at designated intervals as described in the equipment manuals.
• Inspects equipment daily and documents needed repairs.
• Maintains patient records as directed by hospital policy and procedure.
• Orders supplies and maintains inventory and orders supplies.
